SecondaryU In-Season Program
Football season is finally here! And as the season progresses, athletes will become more prone to injury due to the brutal nature of football. The smallest pain in the joints and/or muscle can eventually lead to injury, if left unchecked. It is critical for our student athletes to participate in a weekly maintenance program so to reduce the risk of injury while maintaining athletic performance.
SecondaryU would like to introduce our In-Season Program, which is specifically designed to maintain functional strength, explosive power and anaerobic conditioning while improving integrity of joints and flexibility.
The emphasis of our program will be placed on injury prevention. All exercises are designed to increase blood flow, improve muscle extensibility, connective tissue and joint function as well as improving the body's ability to react.

The 4th and final session of a 4 series Defensive Back camp will conclude this Saturday 8/1.

This will be a 4 session skill development series.
The purpose of this camp is to build a solid foundation of technique and movement that is crucial for all high school defensive backs.
We believe the current Era of defensive backs has given birth to new levels of speed, but only to fall short of skill & technique.
SecondaryU training camp is bringing the craft back into the art of DEFENSE.
During the 4 session series, we will progressed our students through 4 phases of training progress our students through 4 phases of training with emphasis on balance, joint integrity & mobility, hand eye coordination and technique.

Penn State vs Indiana 2002
Play Breakdown:
The call was Field Sky, which was Cover 3. Indiana gave us a twins set with Tight End closed. I had no threat of #1 so I drifted to the middle of the field looking for deep crossers.
Film study taught me that Indiana rarely used their tight end as a deep threat. Knowing this allowed me to become more of a short hole robber and lurk in the middle of the field.
The interception and touchdown was a result of film study.
Lesson:
Football is 90% intelligence once you get to the collegiate and professional level.
To be the best, you have to be a Student First!!!
