Happy New Year!

According to legend, The Drake Hotel has a special guest named the "Woman in Red" who still haunts the hotel 100 years after her tragic death on New Years Eve. The Woman in Red jumped out the 10th floor window of the hotel after spotting her husband cavorting with another woman at the party. Today, guests at the Drake have reported seeing the Woman in Red wandering the Gold Coast Room, the Palm Court, and the 10th floor. A Blind Pig was usually a dive or low-class speakeasy that sold illicit beer and liquor during the time of Prohibition. Even though police and agents of the Bureau of Prohibition would often raid them and arrest their owners and patrons, they were so profitable that they continued to flourish.
