During the day the scenic views of the Channel, lighthouse and marshland will delight as you watch shore and seabirds forage and Assateague ponies in the distance. Bring your binnoculars or zoom camera for some spectacular photos. You are only 100 yards to your own private dock for fishing, crabbing or just whiling away the hours in relaxation with a cool drink in hand. In the evening, just as the sun goes down, the Assateague lighthouse sparks to life. Hopkins House is just a short distance from the public boat ramp, Memorial Park, a restaurant and more! Additional amenities include: private dock/boat-slip, washer & dryer, pets allowed, outside shower, waterfront with dock, walking distance to east side boat ramp, one mile to Memorial Park, three miles to Assateague National Park, gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, central air conditioning, oil furnace heat, back deck, on-site parking for at least three vehicles. Upgrades at Hopkins House. Outdoor shower with enclosure, seating, hangars and total privacy. Bonus there is also hot and cold water with a wand to target your feet.

We updated the refrigerator. Sadly we don't have the water or ice maker working yet. But we will work on it. Enjoy.

A few improvements at Hopkins. Based on suggestions from our guests. Toaster oven to replace the toaster. Pillow covers for the pillows (crazy what a year of use does). And because we had no idea it's a little dark at the stove, a new light.

New front porch fans.

So, one of our fine guests gave us this idea. Took us a bit to develop a solution we were comfortable with. But here you have it. Hopkins front porch sunroom now has two oscillating fans and one remote control. Plus, added bonus, each seat now has USB charging and an extra outlet. Thank you for the recommendation.

New to Hopkins House is a storm door with screen for the front porch. The old door broke a few weeks back.

At the suggestion of a recent guest and family, we purchased a new to Hopkins House folding and rolling gaming table with drawers and storage stools for the front porch.

Now on those rainy days you'll have a place to play games, make puzzles and watch the waterway with style.

Or use it for a quiet front porch dinner for two.
