Tune in! Better yet, let NASEM hear from you about your experience with the TRICARE ACD.

The ad hoc committee reviewing TRICARE's Autism Care Demonstration (ACD) program will hold a publicly streamed virtual meeting.

When: Friday April 12th 12-2 pm ET
Where: https://bit.ly/3PSzNTZ

MAA's CEO, Dr. Kristi Cabiao, will open the session with a short presentation covering the steps to enroll in the ACD program and the potential barriers military families face.

Kristi's short presentation will be followed by a panel composed of 6 military families. These families will share their personal experiences seeking ABA services and related support services for their children.

Please show your support to these families by joining the listening session. It is an act of bravery to speak publicly and share personal stories. We are grateful to these families for their advocacy.

There will not be a time for public commenting during this session. This is to allow the military family panel as much time as possible to hold live discussion with the committee.

Fellow providers who currently or formerly serve(d) TRICARE clients, NASEM is doing a provider listening session regarding the ACD. NASEM needs to hear from a variety and quantity of providers regarding their experience with TRICARE.

Items that might apply to your practice that NASEM needs to understand:
--why you no longer serve TRICARE clients
--barriers to initiation of ABA
--barriers to continuity of care
--how the ACD program is unique with regard to requirements and treatment compared with other funders
--ways the ACD is in line or not with ethics, CPT codes, and standards of care/practice

Please feel free to call/text (615)519-1160 or message us if you have questions.
