☀️🧡☀️Chris and I had the pleasure of living in homes both stateside and abroad. Now that our children are grown and living on their own, we have put down roots on Church’s Island, and have no intention of moving anywhere else. With the view we have out our front window, why would we?☀️🧡☀️

🚧🏠The guest house “The Epilogue” was a former 1955 shed that housed an antique Corvette and various farm animals. Please check out our Renovations Highlight on our Instagram page to see the transition from bare bones shed to a peaceful boho retreat. Chris and I are thrilled with the transformation.🏠🚧

📚❤️Our main house which we affectionately call “The Last Chapter,” is our happy place. Chris is a retired naval officer who now writes and publishes full-time, and Sheellah is a former private school and public librarian; hence, the names “The Last Chapter” and “The Epilogue.”❤️📚

📖🎣We are currently working out details to rent our cute, little guest house as a retreat for both authors and others looking for a peaceful getaway. Plans are in the works to re-do our original 1953 dock after our osprey couple are done nesting. We foresee the dock as a popular spot for our guests to enjoy watching nature, reading a good book (we may know some,) and fishing off the dock.🎣📖
