Packing for my own vacation while getting multiple clients ready to travel over the holidays. The N Family is heading to Cancun for 5 nights at the Riu Latino, an adults-only all-inclusive resort. It's a sun-lover's paradise with pools, unlimited food and beverages, a waterpark and of course, the beach!

Clients come to me with a range of travel experience. Some are globetrotters. Others have never traveled outside of the country. Most clients fall somewhere in between. One of my favorite parts about cruising is shore excursions or as Disney calls them, port adventures. We've booked some amazing experiences on our upcoming Disney Wish and Disney Treasure cruises. I will be reviewing each of them. Which one are you most excited to hear about?

One of my best clients contacted me this morning to inquire about availability on Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas for November 9th. There was one balcony room left and it was very pricey. This client has teenagers, so they are partial to the newer ships with activities to keep everyone occupied. I checked other ships leaving that day. Carnival Jubilee and Mardi Gras. Booked solid. I remembered Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas out of Galveston. Two inside connecting rooms available! Wahoo. Parents in one room. Teens in the other. A solution that was $4,000 less than a balcony on Icon, gives them two bathrooms and plenty of privacy. I scooped those up and placed them on a courtesy hold so the client can think about it.

The R. Family reported in today that they are enjoying their Italy & Greek Isles cruise. Today's stop was Catania, Italy on the island of Sicily. They took the same ship-sponsored shore excursion that I did with my family back in 2022, Mount Etna 4x4 Expedition. I highly recommend this adventure, especially after the recent eruption in July. There's nothing quite like standing near the top of an active volcano. Tomorrow's stop is the much-anticipated Sorrento and Pompeii. I have been to both and can confidently say that this family is in for a treat.

Today, the R. Family is enjoying a whirlwind guided adventure of all things Rome with my favorite company, The Tour Guy. There are tour companies and then there's The Tour Guy. They are my immediate go-to for clients who desire an incredible experience and personalized attention. I booked with this company back in 2022 when my own family visited Rome before our Italy & Greek Isles cruise. They won me over with their customer service and the fact that they were able to secure a deaf tour guide for my daughter. Not an interpreter.
