Crandall Jeff starting his Real Estate investing in the mid 1980’s, during which time he worked in the computer industry for 10 years, ultimately, as a Senior Systems Analyst. In 1990, Jeff left employment and opened his own practice as an Individual and Small business financial consultant. In the early 1990’s, Jeff became a Certified Tax and Financial Planner holding licenses with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a Registered Stock Broker and Registered Investment Advisor. During the same period he received the designation as “EA” (Enrolled Agent) with the IRS allowing him to represent clients before the IRS. He also received licensing designations with the California Department of Insurance as Life Insurance Agent, and Variable Life Insurance Agent. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Financial Planning. During the 1990’s, he continued his personal real estate investing while growing his consulting practice, attending hundreds of hours of seminars investing tens of thousands of dollars. In the 2000’s, Jeff moved his financial consulting practice to a specialty of Real Estate. Jeff became a sought after speaker for Real Estate investing and Real Estate Finance in the Southern California Area. Jeff sold his practice and semi-retired in 2006 managing his portfolio. In 2009, after the initial effects of the “Great Recession”, Jeff saw the opportunity and teamed up with what became one of largest distressed property buyers in Los Angeles (county), California. Jeff became the COO of the company. The company’s core business was purchasing, rehabbing and re-selling 1-4 units. In 2014, the company sold $77M worth of real estate employing 50 people not including general contractors and their sub-contractors. They managed multiple high end-investors and funds to an approximate total of $60M. In 2014, Jeff stepped down in preparation for his move from California to Colorado Springs with his daughter: His vision is to create a family business utilizing the combined experience of his and his daughter and pass the torch while building a family legacy and wealth generation tool. This is why Superior Renovated Homes was created in January of 2015. Amy N Jones Amy started her real estate experience by pulling weeds in Pomona in 1991. She took a few years off to complete her schooling only to be pulled into a fourplex rehab in the late 90’s. Adventurous and ambitious, she moved herself to Colorado in ’99 and pursued a restaurant management career. In 2001, Amy became the youngest general manager ever promoted by the national chain. She went on to earn prestigious awards including top 3% in the nation in performance and profitability. Over her career, she “flipped” 13 restaurants from the lowest profit stores to the highest profiting stores in their markets. Known for performance and leadership she became the above store training leader for all store level managers. She has trained and developed over 200 managers. While managing restaurants, Amy also completed her Bachelor’s in Business Management. She graduated with a 3.97 GPA while running the number one profiting store in her market. In 2003, she found, managed, and was responsible for her father’s fourplex in Colorado Springs. This was her father’s response to her request to learn more about real estate investing. In 2005, Amy moved to California to work side-by-side with her father and manage his portfolio including single family renovations to out-of-state apartment complexes. Amy continued to manage restaurants in the foreground while learning and building real estate knowledge in the background. In 2011, she left the restaurant business for good to focus on real estate full-time. She was hired as a consultant to support a real estate company in Marina del Rey and helped them grow their sales from $30m to over $75m in four years. In 2014, Amy moved back to Colorado with the dream of working side-by-side with her father in the business they had both mastered – real estate investing. Superior Renovated Homes is the birth of a long awaited dream with the best partnership in communication and skillsets available.
