Those in Colorado Springs have likely noticed that the surrounding mountain scene is a bit snowier than it usually is at this point in the year.

My Geological Adventure in the Garden of the Gods.

I come to this park often, because I love it and I am local tour guide, I come with groups, we hike and explore, or we just drive a big loop. One evening this fall I’ve heard about Drumming circle event will be taking place in the park, and my intention was to join it. BUT funny enough, I couldn’t find them! I’ve heard the drumming somewhere, walked couple trails and instead of drums I came up to this hidden rocky ravine. It was there right around sunset, and red sand stone layers we so bright and perfect! Different green trees and shrubs, no wind, crickets, few doves and black crows above, and all the layers inside the stone walls. It looked gorgeous!
