Has this ever happened to you? If you’re still running a D series or not plan to build one make sure to use the power street bracket or the L bracket to bolts on to the 2 bolt block bracket. The bolts pull out of the block like it did mine when building it for the Speed Channels “PINKS ALL OUT” in 2007. The damage contributed to us missing that event. The next event after the car won the IFO Bracket class with consistent mid 12’s. All stock Z6 on 8psi. Still to this day my favorite build.

has our D16a1 block for a rod and piston build to handle some twin charged action from a SOHC D16 Jackson supercharger and a 75 wet shot From a period correct Zex kit with machine gun, purge solenoid. The supercharger will be mounted by a Chedda auto D16A1 to D16 intake manifold adapter. I may have to send the adapter and the charger for some port work from GSP also
NOW AVAILABLE. If you have a front wheel drive cable D Series transmission aka L3, the stock stamped steel transmission bracket is a common failure point. The original bracket breaks and in many case drops the transmission breaking the rear engine bracket and right axle. The OEM stamped part is discontinued and used replacements are getting harder find. When making a replacement in an attempt to correct the failure, initially, it was going to be completely stock replacement but when looking closer at the OEM design making it like stock could create the same issue. We beefed up the area that causes the problem, but the original mount stud is fused, making it virtually impossible to remove easily. Thinning our aluminum construction down, may ultimately create the same issue as stock. In its current form, it’s an excellent replacement for those using aftermarket replacement engine mounts such as this from Hasport. If one wanted to attempt to use the stock mount as of right now, there will be modification required. 1. removing the stud. 2. Trimming the stamped lips. Our Scirocco Radiator Left Fan Shroud has been updated. The VWRS2 has a cut way tab to help aid in K Swap alternator clearance when using in a EF. We are stocked with 300 shrouds and fan combos.

This week we fit out USDM SIR Style Hood on a local car to check clearances. We are getting down to the wire. I recorded the whole process. It’s up on our YouTube channel now!
Our Dual fit EF Piece front was designed to fit both CRX and Hatch. In our opinion the CRX has a better look and was essentially formed to that look. When swapping on a hatch the corner lights will be for a CRX.
S1 Built AWD rear brake line extensions. For those using the OEM rear brake bulk head location with rear discs. This kit extends over the axle and includes a bolt on bracket to S1s rear strut fork. Click on the brakes category on the website.
The EF 3 piece fender plugs are finished. A “PLUG” is what is used to make the mold. With the mold we can make our production parts. I’ll be picking up the car and taking it to our composite manufacture where the front end will be fitted with the USDM SIR style web less hood. This will be the first time our nearly 3 year long hood creation will be attached to a car. We are looking for any fit issues and how well our OEM hood hinge and latch attachments align. As soon as we have a final fit we will keep you updated when to expect them for sale.

Many of you learned about Hush from my Junk Yarding. Videos. I do occasionally make it out however going to the yard was how I funded many of the tools and production parts I’ve had made that you guys now use. This might great news for some of you. About 3 years ago we decided to make our own webless USDM SiR style hood. We started from an OEM steel hood added a raised cowl like the sir and made the under hood flanges cut back enough to clear an RBC on a K24 on Hasports low setting. After scrapping many halves we finally made the first. We still have to test fitting. We do not have a release date yet but our goal was to offer a completely vacuum infused carbon version. We will offer more details as we get closer to a production run.

Denver locals. Looking for help with an 88-91 Hatch or CRX to test fit our USDM SIR hood. We need to fit one on to either one of those bodies that has OEM fenders, headlights and bumper that has not had front end damage. It’s a tall order but am hopeful.

Looking at me looking for the hood prop I do not have or the broom stick or jack handle. Getting that K swap already cost you cutting the webbing. Now you’re left with a hood that easily folds over.
