Are you interested in helping shape New Hampshire’s upcoming five-year outdoor recreation plan? You are invited to participate in a short online survey (10-15 minutes) through Feb. 24, 2023.

Why?: The N.H. Division of Parks and Recreation has partnered with the UNH Department of Recreation Management and Policy to design the survey as one part of the information gathering process for the 2024-2028 New Hampshire Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Management Plan, which helps shape management actions and investments statewide and is required in order for New Hampshire to receive funding from the federal Land and Water Conservation Fund program.

Fun fact!

The Albany Covered Bridge that carries Dugway Road over the Swift River not far from the Kancamagus Highway (NH 112). It was built in 1858 at a cost of $1,300. The U.S. Forest Service replaced the wooden floor timbers with steel in 1981-1982.
