There is a new Bongo Bongo amenity. Ronnie’s Pizza just opened its new location, and it is less than two minutes from Bongo (down the hill, past the Westin, first left.) Ronnie’s still delivers too, and he says a lot to Bongo. 693-7700. Opens at 4pm. Makes great next-day lunch leftovers, if there are any 😋

New Mitsubishi air conditioners for both bedrooms. Just as icy-cold as the old ones, without the noise. They cool the rooms in just a few minutes.

Genuine Bongo Key Lime Pie! Cream cheese + sweetened condensed milk + whipping cream + Bongo key lime zest and juice + a little vanilla. Make a cocktail while pie chills. = Wow this was good.

This 3-D painting/sculpture from Pink Papaya has hung outside for several years and largely faded away. Jeff got some paints and brushes from St. John Hardware and fixed that. He’s no Don Ricci, but not bad. It’s a happy reef again.

We replaced the headrests in the hot tub; the originals baked to death in the sun. We just searched “Sundance Optima headrests” on Amazon, and boom, there they were. It was a very simple project. (We should get in this thing more often.)

The current guests at Bongo Bongo are Saints fans. They’ve mistaken the pool pirate for a Buccaneer. They don’t like.

The pirate is back! The first one, “guaranteed not to fade of crack for several seasons,” faded completely gray after about three months. The manufacturer says they’ve applied additional UV protection to their mats. Not likely to matter, but the pirate is fun, so we can replace him again (and again, and again. “Arrgh Matey!)

Per Roy Davis’ suggestion, we got a Key Lime bush. Actually two Key Lime bushes, and a lemon bush brought in by Julie at Property King! They're very new plants and it will take a while for them to bear ripe fruit. But there are tiny little key limes already visible so eventually you can pick and squeeze for Happy Hour all you want!

When we planted this Bismarckia palm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bismarckia), it was two feet tall. for reference that's at Russ's knee. We were told it would be 6 to 8 feet at maturity. Now you can see it from outer space.
