HORSE AND BARREL TOURS INC. ACQUIRES KY WINE AND BOURBON TOURS LLC
LEXINGTON, KY- AUGUST 17, 2018 – Horse and Barrel Tours Inc. announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire KY Wine and Bourbon Tours LLC, a Danville, KY based tour operator. The addition will allow Horse and Barrel to expand its tour offerings throughout Kentucky to include local wineries along with continuing service to bourbon distilleries, thoroughbred and standard bred horse farms and other venues like Keeneland and the Kentucky Horse Park.
“We are vey pleased to have the opportunity to expand our operations to better serve tour groups and corporate groups with their travel needs”, stated Abe Owen, President of Horse and Barrel Tours. “Additionally, Gary Adkinson, previous owner of KY Wine has agreed to work with us as a tour guide offering years of professional expertise to assist our guests.”
Horse and Barrel Tours is also expanding to a new office location at 1091 E. New Circle Road which will include a larger office and service space for the current fleet of vehicles that includes twelve, thirteen and twenty passenger buses along with an SUV and several sedans.
