Bob's advice to future generations
You must have a good education along with good raising. Education can help you and it can also hurt you, if you let your education tell you that nobody can tell you anything, your education will hurt you because there will always be someone that can tell you something.

Try to walk right before people because someone will follow you. Don't lead anyone astray but walk so that anybody that follow's you will be right.

Raise your children. Don't let your childred raise you. Talk to your children, give them good advice and if they still get in trouble, let them rough if for a while, they'll get themselves straight if you have started them off right.

Treat all of your children alike, don't have any favorites.

Try to treat everybody right even tho everybody won't always treat you right.

Don't expect to be a saint all of the time because you won't ever be that.

Be what you are.

I encourage the Champions to network on purpose, so they'll have a consistent flow of leads to talk to about our business. I attend a lot of events and go out during the week, so I'm in a position to meet new, interesting people who may be open to learning more about our business opportunities. I build rapport and exchange contact information with people I meet at events so I can continue the conversation with them at a later time.

Unfortunately, I've seen folks get really angry with prospects who did not say "yes" to the opportunity. I've heard folks who sounded desperate as if they were begging the prospect to join the business. Neither scenario is good for you or your business. If you're finding that you're angry or feeling desperate while prospecting and recruiting, you may not have enough people in the pipeline to talk to. Get out of the house, make some new friends, and enjoy the process of building your business.
