The Green Dragon™ Inn was the meeting place for all residents of Hobbiton™, who would gather in the warm surroundings of the bar to chatter about the day’s events. The quality of the ale and food was renowned throughout The Shire™. Since 2012, we have been privileged to present The Green Dragon Inn as part of our experience. The Green Dragon Inn is an exceptional example of expert craftsmanship.

You will finish your tour of the movie set with a visit to the famous Green Dragon Inn. The interior of the Inn has been fully reconstructed to appear as it did in the films to give you the opportunity to enjoy the pub in all its splendour as a part of your experience at Hobbiton Movie Set.

Indulge in a complimentary beverage from our Hobbit™ Southfarthing™ range, which encompasses two traditional ales, an apple cider or non-alcoholic ginger beer, all handcrafted and exclusive to Hobbiton™ Movie Set. We also have a delicious range of traditional fayre available for purchase. Whether you choose to enjoy these in a comfortable armchair by the roaring fire, or in the Beer Garden, overlooking the enchanting village, the Green Dragon Inn promises to be a trip to the pub you will never forget!

The Green Dragon Inn is only accessible as part of a tour of Hobbiton Movie Set. The Green Dragon Inn is also available for private functions.

The Shire's Rest™ Cafe offers a tranquil setting for you to relax with a great cup of coffee and a classic country cafe meal. We are a fully licensed facility with a great selection of New Zealand beer and cider.

HOBBITON AT DUSK

Experience Hobbiton™ Movie Set as you have never seen it before with a guided tour through The Shire™ at dusk. Making the most of the remaining daylight, your tour guide will es**rt you through the 12 acre site, recounting fascinating stories and anecdotes about the trilogies. The tour concludes at The Green Dragon™ Inn with a complimentary beverage from our exclusive Hobbit™ Southfarthing™ range. The guests will then be moved through into The Green Dragon dining room and treated to a banquet feast fit for a Hobbit. The tables will be heaving with traditional Hobbit fare and, as is the tradition in the Shire, second helpings are encouraged.

To conclude this premium Hobbiton Movie Set experience, after dinner the guests will re-join their guide to make their way back through the wandering paths of The Shire. The trails will be illuminated by path lighting and handheld lanterns will be provided amongst the guests to help light the way. This stunning journey under moonlight will travel through the village breathtakingly lit up, with Hobbit Hole™ chimneys smoking and lanterns glowing in the darkness.

Numbers are limited, so booking is essential. Please advise any dietary requirements you may have at time of booking in the provided field.

Special Event

If you play "Game of Sultans" on server America-S215 and you are in "Summit Union" there's a special event just for your group (if you aren't already part of Summit Union, feel free to join):

We will have a special Summit Sultans and Sultanas only events: Costume Contest and private group Spa day. Costume Contest will require putting together and dressing up in your best Persian attire. There will be a judging and the winner will receive a gift. The Spa day will be just about us getting to relax, renew, and rejuvenate before we begin any excursions.

This cruise isn't until November 27th of 2022. If you're interested, you have well over a year to think about and prepare for it. If you don't already live in Sydney, Australia, you'll also want to book a Flight to Sydney, Australia

My family and I have already booked. I will gladly go over staterooms and suites, pre board and on board credits (for excursions and spa treatments), and everything else related to preparing for the cruise as well as what to expect on the cruise.
