It's a big week for festivals in DeKalb County! Visit dekalbcountycvb.com for information on these fests and more!

🌽 DeKalb Corn Fest features over 80 vendors, a free corn boil, agricultural displays, carnival rides and more! Headlining this year is Sugar Ray! There will also be over 25 other performances throughout the weekend on stages both inside and outside the Egyptian Theatre.
🍺 Ribs, Rhythm & Brews Fest consists of award-winning rib vendors from across the region, craft beer, and crowd-pleasing musical entertainment. Opening the fest this year is the Ryan Craig Band, followed by Mr. Myers Band, and DJ Kris!

DeKalb County welcomes the United States Adult Soccer Association, along with teams and fans from New York, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Arizona, Illinois, and Utah for the 100th anniversary of the National Amateur Cup tournament!⚽️

Hosted by DeKalb County United, the tournament kicks off with an opening ceremony at the NIU Soccer Complex tomorrow, July 25th at 4:15pm with the first game starting at 5:30pm.

It has been a busy couple of days for our CVB team!

🔹Enjoyed engaging with community members at Family Fun Fest last night
🔹Toured with our Board. It was truly fascinating to witness the inner workings of such an incredible business that specializes in lighting, signs, set production, you name it. They cater to the needs of numerous music artists, sports teams, corporations, and beyond. It was truly mind-blowing to witness the scale and impact of their work.
🔹Joined Leader Tony McCombie, State Representative Brad Fritts, State Representative Jeff Keicher, and other local leaders at for a tour and engaging conversations.
DeKalb County is undeniably thriving, and we are fortunate to have such remarkable organizations contributing to its success.
