We had a good little rain last couple days. The creeks are running and so was the devils as well as a rio grand. Anyone that knows me knows that I’m gonna go catch catfish when this happens. Numbers were good. Size was smaller than what I thought they would be but I kept 15. The bite should be good for three or four days. No need to bait a hole, or anything like that. They are consentrated up the creeks and up the river . We have plenty of room if you have the itch.

The Shad are migrating down river from slaughter bend. There were thousands surfacing today while i was crappie fishing. The small mouths and blacks were all over them. If you want to catch fresh shad its super easy with a cast net right now. Since the shad are moving out, everything else will follow so the good fishing will be moving with them. I did manage another limit of crappie today though.

Just when i thought the fishing couldnt get any better, we slammed them again.. 3 days, 3 limits . . It Doesnt take long when you’re catching 3 @ a time. There is no sign of them leaving, so come on down and get you some. We have plenty of room.

This is our new Tiny Home. Its a one bedroom one bath home with full kitchen. It has a great view of the water along with hookups for your boat. Completely covered deck with a gas grill. Its very cozy and comfortable.

Ruthie’s Rentals has added two new homes over the past year. The first one is a three bedroom two bath with a front and rear deck. It has a King in the master br 2 twin size beds in the middle br and a very nice 4 post bed in the front br. It has covered parking for your boat as well as a place to plug-in. Smart TV in living area along with wi-fi. View of the water from front deck. The entire home is completely covered, including decks, so no worries about rainy days (not that we worry about that much). 🙂 Pictures of the second home coming soon.
