Take a brand new 16oz and remove all the sand cast, & casting imperfections, polish the inside & back of the claw. Here at 400 dry, 4hrs left to finish this customers 2nd hammer.

Next one in the booth, detail, detail, detail. Couple grand in hours will be spent on her, multiple layers, colors, candy, flake & at least 15 coats clear before wet sanding & polish.

Frame needs more clear but that's for tomorrow, today tiny parts go black, 6 bolts & even the cable end caps get the treatment.

My latest endeavor, not good enuf yet will be brought down to 800 & polished again before its done to my standards.

I'm going to have a couple of frames done soon, an old DK six pack from back in the day and a GT tour with plenty of mods. I have the idea of pearl white with candy green splatter for the GT and the DK is being restored to factory olive green with a very light flake in grey for the lettering.

These bars are worked very well and look very good but the polish is still not up to par. Next step is rubbing compound.
