Born and raised in Central California, Kris grew up doodling, painting, and spending time with her many pets. Kris earned her BA at California State University of Fresno. After 33 years as a designer creating logos, posters and maps, Kris now works on perfecting her artistic techniques in acrylic, watercolor, and ink. She retired and now lives in Depoe Bay, Oregon.

🦀 Crab Feed Update! 🦀

While we apologize for the short notice, we are thrilled to announce some positive changes that will make this year's event even better than before!

Due to our growing attendance, we have outgrown our previous venue and with that increase our important supplies need time to produce more. After sitting together we realized we had to make some adjustments and the Crab Feed will now take place on Saturday, May 11th at the beautiful Depoe Bay City Park! This new location will allow us to accommodate more guests and add even more fun activities to the event.

All of our suppliers, nonprofit partners, and chowder teams are looking forward to the new date and location. We have connected with everyone who we expected and all who had tickets were offered full refunds. The response from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive. Some groups have even increased their ticket purchases!

We are grateful for your continued support and can't wait to see you at the Depoe Bay Crab Feed on May 11th. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful event! 🦀

Bigfoot’s Beach House is a brand-new concept store opening in Depoe Bay! We are looking for the right people to build our team! Featuring a Stumptown Coffee bar, sandwiches and salads, donuts, locally hand-printed apparel and local artists, we are a one stop shop for a good time in Depoe Bay. We are a family owned and operated company looking to add to our family with individuals who have a good attention to detail, can put the customer’s perspective first, are looking to mingle with the tourists and play tour guide and can help bigfoot run his beach house and make all feel welcome! We have many positions open and lots of flexibility in building our schedule! We want to find the right people to create a laid back, fun, positive upbeat work atmosphere- where the coffee is flowing, the beers are sipped overlooking the ocean and the donuts are delicious! Pay is $18-22/hr DOE.
