Detroit Rock Seekers!
Detroit Lake Foundation will be hiding one special hand blown glass ornament and rocks every week until Christmas. The first ornament has been hidden and rocks will be hidden throughout the week.

Just a reminder that the fishing derby is May 16th this year, which means if you are booking reservations at the state park, this is your month to grab spots!
Don’t forget, Reservations open up 6 months prior to the date you want to camp!

Curious about the Detroit Lake excavation project aiming to extend the recreation season? Envisioning park and city initiatives in the canyon? Considering plans for fish and wildlife? Learning of new recreational options that could be developed in the future in the forests and communities in the canyon? Stay informed about the planned improvements to Detroit Dam.

We look forward to your presence at the upcoming Federal Lakes Meeting scheduled to be streamed live on October 21, 2024, at 6 p.m. at Gates Fire District in Gates, Oregon. Seating is limited, so we strongly encourage streaming this informative meeting. This is a semi-annual gathering for our Detroit Lake / Santiam River area convened by the Detroit Lake Foundation for information, conversation, and connection.
