Help!!! I've been booked for months. We're traveling in July. I just received a random refund notice on my credit card. According to the hotel, I canceled my reservation two days ago on the website and now the only option is to pay the current rate which is DOUBLE the amount. I did not cancel. I did call 2 days ago to ask them to link our reservation with the others in our group. I want to go, but I can't justify paying literally double the price for someone's error. I was paid in full. Has anyone dealt with this? I've called the main customer service and the property directly. Both gave the same answer: rebook at the higher rate.
