Thanks so much to the Lunker Lodge team for the wonderful get-away last week! The cabin was super cute and clean as can be. The hosts even decorated for our anniversary and had 60's music playing when we got there! We watched Sheridan (Granny) cook an amazing Dutch Oven meal of Salisbury Steak, veggies, biscuits, and pineapple upside-down cake. Absolutely yummy! We enjoyed the evening lake view from the patio, and then woke up early the next day for a beautiful morning and fishing. Thanks for everything!!!!!!!

We've been anticipating this moment for a while . . . Brad's replica of his ShareLunker #581 was mounted in the Lunker Lodge yesterday! It makes a really nice centerpiece for the new cabin. We'll be opening to rentals very soon, check out our listing on AirBnB.

We are getting close to done! Beautiful kitchen nearly ready, high-efficiency hvac units working great, flooring and walls are finished. Just a few more weeks till grand opening y'all!

Progress! Last piece of sheetrock went up today, custom wood finishes are getting completed throughout the cabin, and the sleeping loft is already painted!

Meet Scott Matriarch/Lunker Lodge Owner, Ms. Sheridan Scott. She and her late husband Jerry raised their three boys here at Lake Leon. It was her dream to build a log cabin on her lakefront lot, and she is excited that her dream will be coming to life in January 2020!

Meet the Lunker Lodge construction crew . . . The man, the myth, the legend, Rick Cunningham, and his lovely and talented wife, Sandra; mechanical expert Brad Scott and his sidekick (and wifey), Mandy. Today we are working on the loft staircase, sheetrock taping, and the shower installation.
