Whether you're having a wedding reception, anniversary, or other celebration, music is a very important part of it. If I don't have it, I will get it.

Typically at most events there is a wide range of age groups with different tastes in music. We try to please everyone by getting a feel for the audience that is present and adjusting the mix of song's accordingly. We use only high end, professional audio equipment that delivers clean, crisp, sound and receive many compliments on it. You can rest assured the same person you talk with at first will

be that same person working your event. For all but the smallest functions, We use a professional four speaker sound system that many companies charge twice as much for, and most others only use two speakers, keep this in mind when comparing prices. My job is 95% playing music and 5% announcing, so the quality of the sound system is a huge part of what your paying for. As for the music, there's more than 450,000 titles in my library ranging from the Classics right on up to today's hits. "In The Mix" offers a Professional, full service musical experience. Using 'State Of The Art' professional audio systems, My music library of over 450,000 songs, from the 1930s to a couple of minutes ago, I provide fun and dancing for EVERY person at your event. Nobody gets left out. My prices are very low for what we provide, and I include disco light show free of charge. You never have to worry about equipment failure, because I always bring back up equipment. I will talk with you before your event to plan out exactly what you want and how you want it. I am also fully insured.

Marvin and Rachel of "in the mix" DJ, would like to announce that we are pulling back a little bit on the amount of parties that we will be booking.
We still will be available for a few private parties a year. But we will no longer be doing any weddings for the time being.
There's a lot of reasons why we decided to go this route but the biggest reason is, it's just me and Rachel doing this, and if for some reason we book a wedding and we were not able to be there for some reason, that would put the bride and groom in a very difficult position.
I've had a couple people lined up in case this happened but they are no longer available to help :-(.
We would like to thank everyone that has helped us over the years and we have played at hundreds of weddings and had an awesome time at all of them.

Gov. Phil Scott said he thinks weddings will be able to happen in Vermont for the second half of the year. Our Kayla Martin reports that is welcome news for businesses that were worried about a repeat of last year.
