Effingham County Public Transportation is a federally and state funded public transportation system. Our service is available to anyone needing transportation!

ECPT provides door-to-door service in Effingham county. All of our vehicles are ADA compliant! Mission Statement:
The goal of Central Illinois Public Transit Program is to provide reliable and timely transportation to residents of each county we serve by ensuring punctuality, accessibility, courtesy, cleanliness, serviceability, and safety at all times to our riders. Dispatch hours M-F 6:00 a.m.-

6:00 p.m. Transportation Hours M-F 6:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. with limited Saturday hours 6:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Fare Structure
In County
-Cost per one-way trip- $3
-Children 6-12 cost per one-way trip- $2
-Children 0-5 ride free with paying adult
-Riders age 60 and over ride at no charge in County limits. Donations are accepted. Pass Information (in county and scheduled out-of-county on existing routes)
Unlimited In-County Monthly Pass
-General Public- $35
-Person with a disability- $15
-Discount books of 10 tickets- $20

Same day service available if space permits

Special trips Out-of-County/ Out of Service Area/ Non-Existing Routes- Per mile $1

-Agencies are not eligible for monthly passes or book of 10 tickets
