This weekend is the Post Lake Improvement Association - PLIA fishing jamboree. While the ice fishing may not be going on too much the party and raffles at the PLIA building will be in full force and one of their biggest fundraisers. Don't forget to mark your calendars! The ice ❄️☃️ is shaping up nicely and we are hoping for a great turnout for our biggest fundraiser of the year - the 26th Annual Ice Fishing Jamboree!

So.. where does the money raised by this event go? Proceeds are used to maintain and improve our lakes, finance fish stocking, scholarships for local graduates, school & community programs, as well as providing financial support for the Elcho Area Volunteer Fire Dept., along with other worthy causes brought before the PLIA Board and membership.

Please consider volunteering, donating, purchasing raffle tickets, or just coming up to join in on the fun - food and beverages will be available! 🐟🪝

Well Gypsy’s Hideaway Camground is starting to come together. Cabins are sleepable but not where I want them to be yet. Furniture to paint, walls to paint, rugs to get, etc. but it’s a start and nothing but improvements from here on out. Stop on out Sunday for our Absolute Realtors customer appreciation annual party. Bag toss, food, beverages and Lovin' Country starting at 1pm.

Our renter Dave caught a hog by the post lake dam. Asked the hubby if he could park his truck, boat and trailer in the campground while he fished the damn for a bit before he headed home and ended up with this beast on his line! Nice catch!
