In our continuing push to always make things just a little nicer for our guests we have changed our grilling area. The sad little park style grill sitting by itself has been replaced with a propane grill in a gravel pad.
There is also a new picnic table if you want to eat right there, have a place for your grill accessories, or hang out with a beverage while you watch someone else cook.
I've also added a gratuitous beach shot, because why not?

People aren't always aware of the danger posed by digging on the beach.
Holes are also a potential danger to emergency vehicles.

The little girl’s brother, also trapped in the sand hole with her, was hospitalized in stable condition.

I seldom share the view from the oceanfront bedroom. While the bedroom with the king bed is larger, I'll take a queen to wake up to this.
Minor maintenance items are still on the agenda as we prepare for the busy season. Prime weeks are filling quickly and we urge everyone to reserve your preferred time.
If you can't find the time you want, don't overlook fall. The water stays warm, fishing is at its peak, and the crowds are less. There's a reason it's sometimes called "locals summer". And prices are lower! Follow the link in our signature for availability.

We're thrilled to unveil our new kitchen at Queen of the Sea.
We have new cabinets, new quartz counters, and new appliances. There is more counter space, more cabinet space, and now filtered water and ice.
The one thing that's the same is the great location and amazing view.
