Exciting news!

🚢🍎🛥️ NEW BOAT LAUNCHING AND CHRISTENING!! 🛥️🍎🚢

This Sunday, May1st, is the big day!

Starting around 8:30 am we'll begin the process of launching the boat. We expect her to be floating on her own somewhere between 9:30 a and 10:30 a. Following the launch, we will have a christening ceremony.

Thank you to the Town of Sunapee, our amazing vendors, and the community for your support. We couldn't do it without you!

Sundae Sundays are here!!!! At The Hook we are all about Sitting, Savoring and Making Memories. When our kids were young we had a tradition of Sunday sundaes. Sunday nights were family time. Whether it was a family movie, family game night or the occasional Nerf war, they always included ice cream sundaes.
The uncertainty and upheaval of our world this past year is taking it's toll. Whether you have little ones or grown kids, everyone is feeling the stress. So we encourage you to Sit, Savor, and Make a Memory with your family. Take a break from the worries and have fun together.
On that note, we are offering Sundae Funday kits for you to pick up or have delivered. (not just a Sunday event ;-) ) You choose two flavors of our amazing Gifford ice cream, 4 toppings, and we'll toss in fun color changing spoons and cups. (no dirty dishes to clean up!) And if you really don't want dishes add this to any take out dinner order and we'll take $2.00 off the sundae kit price.
Pint size kit-$13.50 includes 2 pints of ice cream, four 2 oz toppings of your choice, 4 sundae cups and spoons.
Quart size kit $25.00 includes 2 quarts of ice cream four 4 oz toppings of your choice, 8 sundae cups and spoons.

Nelson Story was the grandson of John and Priscilla Story, the original owners of the Story Homestead. John Russell has written an expansive, compelling book about Nelson’s life on the western frontier.
