Show | Talk | Watch | Film Independent film making can be difficult, the idea behind DMSS is to cultivate a creative culture within the genre in Denver.

"The Screening Room", located in the Englewood Civic Center promenade will serve as the headquarters for creative collaboration, film screening (members), film debate and of course popcorn. The society will be a place where not only shooters can visit but other creatives like designers, artists and musicians... because as we all know it takes many talented people in front and behind the camera. Ci

neBites 2011, put on by the Arts Street Alumni Association, will be a launch pad for this creative think tank and hopefully provide fertile ground for content in next years short film festival. The group will support members not only by giving them a location by which to share thoughts and work but also a place where those looking for assistance in finishing a project can garner the resource of people who understand the hardships of a independent artist. No one who participates is expected to help if they choose not to, but in getting to know one another, the hope is that they will fostering the kind of relationships necessary in doing what we do.
