The Ennis Chamber is governed by an 12 member elected board serving 3 year terms and representing a variety of local businesses.

The Executive board includes a president, vice president, secretary and treasurer. The Chamber employs an executive director to coordinate membership, activities and manage the Visitor’s Information Center. The Board sets policy for the organization and divides the responsibilities into committees as follows:

Chamber Committees
• Visitor Center Committee: Oversees the operation of the Visitor’s I

nformation Center including the hiring of the Chamber Administrator.
• Marketing Committee: Coordinates efforts for marketing the Ennis area including website maintenance, tourism brochure, Gold West grants and other advertising/marketing opportunities.
• Activities Committee: Serves as a liaison to the 4th of July Parade Committee. Coordinates support for all Chamber sponsored and supported events.
• Buy Local Campaign Committee: Supports the promotion of local businesses and area grassroots programs. Call the Chamber Office at 406-682-4388 for more information.

The Ennis 4th of July Parade is a huge undertaking and we need your help. There must be a minimum of 16 traffic control volunteers to help at the intersections on the parade route. We also need help lining up the parade, putting out trash cans and cones, and picking those items up at the end of parade.

If we do not have 16 volunteers on traffic control, the parade will NOT be allowed to begin. Older teenagers are welcome to help, we just need an 18+ to pair them with.

MDOT has asked us to advertise that HWY 287 will be closed going through Ennis, MT, on July 4th from 10-11 AM. Please help us pass the word. The better this is advertised and the fewer complaints that MDOT receives, the better chance we have of keeping the ability to close the highway year after year for our fantastic parade. Please help us by sharing this post on Facebook groups around that area.

The 4th of July will be here before you know it!

The parade route is changing this year. The parade will begin on Comley Way at W Ennis and proceed up to Hwy 287. It will turn onto Hwy 287 and proceed down Main St. The parade will NOT be leaving Main Street. The MDOT has instructed us to shorten the parade route for safety reasons. PLEASE when the parade is over DO NOT enter the roadway. Use the sidewalks, crosswalks, and bring your patience.

We MUST have 20 volunteers wearing safety vests and helping with traffic on July 4. If we do not have these volunteers the parade will not be allowed to begin. Please help us and email [email protected] to sign up. You get to wear a super cute safety vest, have a front row seat to the parade, and the community's undying gratitude. The Rodeo board has also donated tickets for us to give to volunteers.

Also, if you would like to help sponsor this event we would love to talk to you. The Ennis Area Chamber of Commerce does not received any town, state, or county money to help organize this event. If you would like to help sponsor anything from trash, to toilets, to advertising, please reach out to [email protected]

It's finally here! The theme for the 4th of July Parade and Festivities.

Wranglers & Anglers: Ennis on the 4th.

If you haven't gotten your parade submission in yet, head over to www.ennischamber.com and get that form filled out. There is a cap on entries and it is a first come, first serve basis.

We need approximately 30 volunteers to put the parade on. If you would like to volunteer please email info@ennischamber. We need help with traffic control, parade line up, trash pick up, and a few other tasks. This is amazing community event. As it has grown, the requirements to keep this a safe and fun day have also grown. Please volunteer!

We are looking forward to another amazing 4th of July!

Do you like to help support your local businesses and local events? The Ennis Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to help with Tap into Ennis on May 18, 2024.

If you work a 2 hour shift; 8-10 am, 10-12 am, or 12-2 pm, you will be given free event admission after your shift is over. If you would like to be a super hero and work from 2-4 or 4-6, you will receive a free 4th of July 2024 shirt in your choice of size and a Tap into Ennis 2024 silipint.

We need volunteers to set up small tents, to help vendors set up and break down, trash control, ID checks, admission tents, there is free water to be given away, and ice to be distributed throughout the day. Whatever your ability level there is a job for you!
