Had a shocking encounter on our hike in Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday! We came across a headless porcupine. 😱 While it's a sad sight, it's also a reminder of the incredible diversity of wildlife in our mountains.

Fisher, a small, agile mammal, is known for its ability to decapitate porcupines. Have you ever seen a porcupine or a fisher in RMNP? Share your experiences in the comments!

This encounter also got us thinking about our Dead Guy Tour. Who knows what other unexpected discoveries you might make on one of our guided adventures? ⛰️

We had the absolute pleasure of seeing Rocky Mountain National Park with our amazing guide Garry! This visit, we decided to book a guide as we wanted to be able to sit back & enjoy the adventure through the eyes of our beautiful Granddaughter Becca. Garry did not disappoint!!!! He shared stories about the history of the mountains & also took us to some less traveled areas that we wouldn’t otherwise have known about! We’re planning on another visit next Summer with the rest of our family & will most definitely book our adventure with Kep Expeditions!!!! Thanks again for allowing us to make some beautiful memories with our Granddaughter 💕! She continues to talk about her travels through the Mountains ☺️!
