Didn't get a Timed Entry Permit for the Bear Lake Road corridor? Remember that the Hiker Shuttle is back!

The Hiker Shuttle provides bus service from the Estes Park Visitor Center (EPVC) to Rocky Mountain National Park's Park & Ride Transit Hub, located on Bear Lake Road. Reservations are required. They can only be booked on Recreation.gov at https://www.recreation.gov/timed-entry/10088647.

Hiker Shuttle Tickets will be released for purchase beginning at 5:00 pm the night before. So, to book tickets for the Hiker Shuttle for Friday, May 27 please log onto Recreation.gov at 5:00 pm MT on Thursday, May 26.

After traveling from the EPVC to the Park & Ride Transit Hub, visitors may transfer to the park's free shuttles (the Bear Lake or Moraine Park Route) to reach Bear Lake and other popular trailhead destinations. The Hiker Shuttle does not make any other stops in Rocky Mountain National Park. All passengers need to be fully prepared with water and snacks. There are no food services available at the Park & Ride or EPVC.

Remember- the last Hiker Shuttle of the day departs Park & Ride to return to EPVC at 5:15 pm. Do not miss the last shuttle, there are no other buses or public transit services back to Estes Park.
