Enjoy the great bluegrass sounds of Asheville Junction this Saturday, June 22nd at "Pickin' on the Square" in Downtown Franklin! The music gets underway at 6:00pm. Our food vendors this week include the Iron Wok, M's Ice Cream and Red's Lemonade. It is always a great evening of entertainment during "Pickin' on the Square"! We hope to see you this Saturday!

Escape the heat and discover lesser known spots to cool off, like Big Laurel Falls. A short hike from the trailhead on FS Road 67 past Standing Indian Campground, Big Laurel Falls is a secluded spot that has a small pool at the bottom of the falls, great for cooling off from the summer heat.

Wallace Branch Trailhead of the Bartram Trail is located only minutes from downtown Franklin and features this beautiful waterfall less than 2/10 of a mile from the trailhead. If you’re up to the challenge, William’s Pulpit is two miles up the trail where your reward is an amazing view of the Mill Creek area below.
