An exciting week sailing on Explora Journeys Explora 1 Barbados to Miami. This ship is so well done. From the wireless charging pads next to the bed, to the automatic foot path lighting in the middle of the night no detail is forgotten.

Since I have become a luxury travel advisor 22 years ago, I have added many tools to my travel toolbox that allow me to travel better, easier and faster. CLEAR is an expedited security program at many airports and stadiums that allows you to fast track past even the TSA pre line, if you have TSA pre check. If you don't have TSA pre check you go to the front of the regular line. I have several guest passes for 3 month memberships if any of my followers would like to check it out. I can’t finish my review of our Esperance barge cruise without mentioning the hard working staff and charming owner. They kept everything running smoothly and worked well together as a team. I miss them already! ❤️

Yesterday was a lovely day in Narbonne. We explored the market and then enjoyed some church visits and sightseeing. We ended the day with a third generation winemaker. He only spoke French but I was able to pick up enough.
We capped off the day with a birthday celebration for Stefani and Jim. Including a rousing game of name that tune with 70’s music led by Stefani.

Yesterday’s excursion took us to Carcassonne, a UNESCO world heritage site due to the exceptional preservation and restoration of the midieval citadel. This site should be on your list of “must see” attractions in this part of the world.

Spent the last two nights at Viceroy Los Cabos. This property was a huge surprise. Two dimensional photos don’t capture the texture, beauty and scale of the resort. The vibe here reminds me of Greece. The way the property sits we enjoyed a cool breeze which was very comfortable. Had one of my top 3 massages ever, from Rachel here. Service was very good. Food was very good. Great location with the town square a $7 cab ride away. General feel is cool vibe/warm heart.

Travel is much more than room product and food. Most memorable vacations are more about how a place makes you feel. It is difficult to convey that with photos but One and Only Palmilla made me feel home. As a matter of fact that is their greeting when you arrive. The passion for their resort was palpable among the staff. From the executive chef to room service you felt their dedication. All around wonderful resort for families and couples.
