๐ Attention all lifelong learners, legal professionals, and students! ๐ Professor @William "Bill" Hamilton, the Senior Legal Skills Professor and E-discovery Project Director at the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law, has been nominated for the #RelativityFest Innovation Award for Education & Mentorship.
Bill has dedicated 17 years to the field, educating over 1500 students in e-discovery rules, case law, software platforms, and best practices. He's the driving force behind UF's annual e-discovery conference, a melting pot of knowledge for 3000+ global practitioners.๐ And prior to that, Professor Hamilton was a litigator at Holland & Knight and Quarles & Brady.
Billโs dedication isn't confined to the classroom โ he has willingly assisted anyone reaching out for help in creating a syllabus, writing a book, or editing a paper. He was even involved in the development of the first #ediscoverycertification through the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), and stills sit on the advisory board. He was also a professor in the Paralegal Program at Bryan University and is currently the chair of the annual UF Law E-Discovery Conference, one of the leading conferences in legal tech.
His selfless, energetic, and forward-thinking attitude is changing the face of legal technology education.๐ We can go on and on about his contributions and how wonderful he is, but we'd rather hear from you in the comments.
