This will be a vacation getaway your family never forgets! We have taken great pride to make sure you have everything you need for a great trip. Located in the alluring Islander East Resort situated on the east end of the island, the condo is just steps down the private walkover to our exclusive beach. That's right...no playing "Frogger" trying to cross five lanes of Seawall Blvd with your kids in tow. Also, there is no public driving on our beach, so your focus can be on enjoying your family and the water! We're within walking distance of the ever-popular Stewart Beach, voted in the top ten of America's best family beaches. The complex has two elevators, a heated swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, 2 shuffle board courts, private walk over to the beach, outdoor shower, sitting area with picnic tables and both charcoal and propane BBQ grills. Lobby has a 24 hour staffed desk, separate free wireless internet service, ice machine, vending machines and a room with coin operated washers and dryers. When you walk into this 6th floor condo, the views of the ocean will take your breath away. You have stunning ocean views from the master bedroom and the living room, both with private balconies. There is free, upgraded wireless internet throughout the unit. In the living room we have a large TV for your viewing pleasure. We have cable as well as a Nintendo Wii with classic games and 2 controllers. We keep a good assortment of DVDs for you to watch at your leisure. The living room is also equipped with a sleeper sofa that easily converts into a queen size bed. The ocean views from the master bedroom are incredible. Watch the sunrise with your coffee on the private master bedroom balcony and listen to the gentle waves. The Master Bedroom has a queen size bed with a new mattress that sleeps very comfortably, and there is a full dresser with plenty of room for unpacking. For your viewing pleasure, this room has a LCD ROKU TV – so Netflix is also available in addition to cable. The inviting guest bedroom sleeps 4 easily, as it has a double and twin bunk bed, as well as a single twin trundle bed underneath, all with new mattresses and pillows. There is a large dresser for unpacking, and an LCD TV with cable and a DVD player. We know what it can be like to nap toddlers, so we have black-out shades and a night light, to meet your family’s needs. The efficient kitchen has granite counter tops and is fully furnished with a dishwasher, cooktop, convection oven (which also has a microwave mode) and refrigerator. Our kitchen comes fully stocked with glasses, coffee cups, dishes, silverware, mixing bowls, pots and pans and cooking utensils. We've just added a detached pantry, to make it convenient to store groceries if you want to dine in. Other features include toaster, full set of kitchen knives, and bar setup. There is also a new Keurig single serve coffee machine, stocked with coffee pods and creamers. Also included in the unit are board games, a DVD collection, beach chairs, beach toys, beach umbrella, beach towels, pool toys, infant a pack and play, linens, and towel setups for each person in your party. Galveston has many area attractions, including the newly opened Pleasure Pier that is only 5 minutes driving distance from the Islander East Resort – it’s so close it can be seen (but not heard) from the balconies. The Strand and many local restaurants are just minutes away. The downstairs lobby has a multitude of brochures for everything to do on the island. A few nearby attractions include Schlitterbahn Water Park, Moody Gardens Pyramids, Bishop’s Palace, Moody Mansion, and much more.
