We have always loved traveling and have had the opportunity to explore places around the world together with friends and family. But we have always kept coming back to the Smoky Mountains and Gatlinburg in particular – the combination of stunning nature, hiking, history, and entertainment options for everyone makes it an unparalleled destination for family visits. When the opportunity finally arose to invest in a cabin in Gatlinburg, it was a dream come true for us. This cabin offered everything that we found important – large common areas, a social and open kitchen, dining area that can seat any size of group, six bedrooms providing enough comfortable sleeping space for friends and family, and beautiful craftsmanship in the log construction, and a serene location with amazing views of the Smokies.
We had already had vacation rental properties elsewhere, where we quickly developed a passion for providing the elements for perfect vacations. Whether for a weekend or for a week or more, guests should be made feel like they are feeling like at home away from home – while providing the setting and all the amenities for a special vacation that helps bring people closer together. It’s also important to us to help guests connect with the genuinely local – whether special local products or experiences. Having stayed in many other cabins in the area, we knew the importance of having owners that truly cared for their properties, as well as their guests.
As we know that there are different preferences regarding booking platforms, we are happy to take reservations on any of the following:

====CABIN DESCRIPTION====
This large log construction will amaze you from the moment you pull up in the driveway of the large private lot. With an absolutely spectacular view of the Greenbriar Pinnacle and the Smoky Mountains and all the amenities you could need, this lodge welcomes you to come on in, relax, and enjoy the best vacation home ever. With six bedrooms (sleeps 18, or 26 if using the four sofa beds), six and a half bath, large kitchen and dining area, three expansive common areas, and a large yard, there is ample space for a large (or small) group to unwind and enjoy the scenery and each other’s company, while having enough private space.
The massive log structure (5850 sqft) really captures the feel of what a Smoky Mountain vacation should be. You enjoy the cozy atmosphere of staying in a true log cabin complete with a stone fireplace and wood floors. Yet you are surrounded by impressive luxury and the extra touches that make you feel you chose the right home for your vacation. The large log post-and-beam construction throughout the cabin emphasizes the massive structure and adds to the rustic feel throughout. The cabin has granite countertops, shower doors, and Venetian bronze hardware in all six and a half bathrooms. In the evening, inside the lodge, there are nine flat-screen TVs with all major entertainment and sports channels, a large cinema room with a wet bar, two arcade machines, and a pool table. Outside, you can enjoy the eight-person hot tub on the deck or sit and gaze into the fire at the beautiful, custom-built firepit with new rustic wooden benches around it.
We decorate the cabin for the different seasons, including holiday decorations featuring a gorgeous 9' Sugarlands Spruce from Balsam Hill (inspired by evergreens that thrive in the Tennessee mountains).
Entering the spacious foyer, you’ll face the massive staircase and the huge picture windows which open onto your own private view of the mountains. In the living room with its high cathedral ceilings, the large logs and beams create a sense of spaciousness. You will find lots of big comfy living furniture facing the stacked stone fireplace in the large spacious room for gathering your whole group. A large flat-screen TV is placed above the log beam mantel.
Just off the large living room is a spacioConfigurable dining area that seat any size group up to 23.us kitchen with all modern appliances: microwave, Vitamix Pro 750 blender with individual smoothie cup addon, KitchenAid assistant, double toasters, panini grill, waffle maker, double function coffee machine for drip brewing and Keurig pods, Crock-Pot, etc. The kitchen has basic supplies, including spices and multiple sets of salt and pepper grinders. There are plenty of high-quality plates, dishes, cups, and glasses – even for the largest groups. The beautiful flatware is American designed and American made. The kitchen has large counters, as well as a work island with a bar and extra seating. Well-lit and with a practical floor plan for preparing meals and cleaning up, the kitchen is so beautiful you will really enjoy the time you spend there. A second fridge is located downstairs.
Adjacent to the kitchen and through the beautifully carved log arch is a large dining area with customizable seating: 10 at one long table, two tables which can seat four each, and five stools at the kitchen island for a total seating capacity of 23 altogether in one room.
There are two large, covered decks just off the kitchen, on either side of the large dining area. One has a large double gas grill with plenty of space for the meal preparers and supervisors. The other deck, also covered, has outdoor tables and chairs for those who would like to enjoy their meal outdoors gazing at the Smoky Mountains.
The master bedroom suite on the main floor enjoys a splendid view of the mountains, beautiful furnishings, a spacious bathroom with whirlpool bath tub, walk-in shower, large walk-in closet, and a flat-screen TV.
At the top of the grand staircase, you realize anew just how impressive the view is from your cabin. The loft area is well appointed and designed for fun and relaxation. You can watch TV, revel in the spectacular beauty out the windows, recline on the comfy couches (which also offer extra sleeping) or join in a game of pool on the beautiful, solid wood pool table. Large logs support your every step.
Upstairs and to the right are two King bedrooms with two full bathrooms in the hall. Both bedrooms are completely private, with flat-screen TVs. One room enjoys the view of the mountains, while the other faces the woods at the front of the house.
The lower level houses the theater room. Plenty of seating on sofas and comfy recliners so everyone can see the big screen. New 60" flat-screen TV, 290+ satellite channels, Bluray/DVD player and a selection of DVDs with our favorite movies. There is also a wet bar, with a fridge and microwave for preparing movie snacks and drinks. Window coverings provide darkness for that matinee showing. Here too the large log construction and wood floors enfold you in the rustic luxury of your custom-built log vacation lodge. An Xbox One X with four controllers and a good selection of sports, party, and family games allow for entertainment for everyone. There are also two multi-game arcade machines that will provide hours of enjoyment for all players.
The lower deck is home to a beautiful eight-person hot tub with an amazing view of the mountains. What an incredible spot for relaxing with friends or family in your own private tub. The covered deck is optimal for enjoying the hot tub no matter what kind of weather. There is also a wrought iron table with seating for 6. Fabulous outdoor living area.
On one side of the theater room is a master king suite that has a private ensuite bath with a shower tub, a large walk-in closet, and a flat-screen TV. Two arcade machines let you relive classic games (placed away from the theater room so that they can be used while others are watching a movie).
On the other side of the theater room are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen-size bed with a twin over queen bunk bed and private ensuite shower bath, ideal for a family with two or three children or just a couple.
Across the hall is another bedroom with a queen-size bed and twin over queen bunk bed with a full-size hall bathroom with tub shower.
There is a large laundry room with a washer and dryer for your convenience.
The large backyard hosts a beautiful, custom-built wood fire pit for hours of enjoying just sitting and gazing into the fire. Or maybe your group would like to roast hot dogs and then make smores. Wood is not provided (unless a previous guest has left some), but there are plenty of options for buying firewood just down the road.
While we are convinced that you won’t want to leave the lodge, it is just a short drive away from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the Smoky Mountain National Park. The Greenbriar section of the Smoky Mountain National Park is just four miles away. This is a lesser-known entrance with many beautiful trails, plenty of parking, picnic area, playground, and access to the Pigeon River throughout. Ramsey Cascades is a favorite amongst hikers.
