⏲️ The countdown is on - just about a week away from no more toll!

🚘 Over 35 million vehicles crossings have been made since it started in 1998. Expected to be paid off in 2026, the toll will no longer exist two years earlier than expected!

💰 The toll bridge was built to connect the east side of the lake to the west (where we’re located). The money from the tolls were used to help with roads on the west side, specifically State Routes MM, TT, and F.

🌊 Excited for this monumental moment and for more tourism and attractions that are contuing to come to the Ozarks!

It’s not often we talk about issues that arise when guests stay. But in this case, our guests informed us of a water problem immediately when it happened, and we had someone out to remedy the issue (within two hours, on a weekend night). We had such understanding guests and rely on our contacts to make sure they help in emergency situations. Thank you to our guests that were so understanding and our local contacts that helped fix the issue almost immediately. Although it put a damper (no pun intended) in our guest’s stay, we were so glad they left with nothing but an excellent stay (minus the water issue). And yes, we reimbursed our guests for having to experience that during their stay. It’s always important to remember that unexpected issues can happen, but it’s even more important that your host is always available to help in emergency situations. Glad that we’re all dried out and ready for our next group’s arrival for this upcoming Father’s Day weekend!
