Activities: An easy drive from Kansas City or St Louis, this vacation home is perfect for relaxation as well as family-oriented water sports; great crappie and bass fishing around. Coop’s Cover offers a quiet place to relax, read or refresh while soaking up the sun, water and lake area beauty. With being just 6 miles from Laurie off of Hwy O, restaurants, local shopping and grocery store is nearby. There is also a convenient store, Buck Creek; it is just 1.5 miles from home. Hwy O has so many different offers, like a golf course, movie theater, restaurants, bowling, and churches. We are an easy 35-45 minute drive to all the tourist attractions on the east side of the lake like, Bagnell Dam, Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, world famous golf (Lake Ozark and Osage Beach), including a Robert Trent Jones course at local resort areas. Two state parks; a wonderful water park for families are within the same easy drive. Don’t miss out of the caves either. So many opportunities, but that’s if you can pull yourself away from the lake!
