Shared from the Griffin/Spalding Chamber of Commerce: Just a couple of weeks away until the Great Griffin Mayfling. The festival will be held in Griffin City Park on April 27th & 28th. Lots of great food (bbq, bloomin onions, jambalaya, funnel cakes, just to name a few), crafts, Southern Cruiser's Car Show on Saturday, Bike Rodeo hosted by the Griffin Bicycle Coalition, The Nerdy Derby hosted by Georgia Tech on both days and great entertainment from local people. Let’s go fly a kite! You are invited to Kites in the Garden this Sunday, March 17 from 1-4 p.m. at the UGA Griffin Campus Research and Education Garden. This event is free and open to the public, and makes a great family outing.
