Not the biggest tarpon of the season but BY FAR one of the most resilient. This fish measured in at 82” x 36.5” which makes her ≈ 174LBS on the @bonefishtarpontrust calculator. Good healthy fish that just would not give up. I am blessed with a career doing what I truly love. Cliche’ as the sayings may be, it is amazing waking up every day living my dream. While most days off are spent maintaining the boat, respooling reels, deep cleaning equipment, servicing the engine etc. there is also a need to scout and pre-fish for upcoming trips. I truly enjoy putting clients on fish, but every once in a while I’ll handle a rod to bring back those memories of why I got into this sport to begin with. It never gets old!!!! Looking forward to Fall fishing with both repeat and new clients!
