Fair to say this was the BEST Cobia bite any of us have ever seen!!!!! We loaded up the EFC 🛥️ and headed for the Dry Tortugas. Doubles, triples and quads from the time we pulled up until the time we left every day 🎣
If you ever wanted to see grown men act like kids in a candy shop all you have to do is see the smiles on our faces and excitement in our voices. It was straight National Geographic out there 🤯
We lost count of how many Cobia we saw and hooked, but you know it’s a good bite when we decided to take the hooks off the lures and just have fun watching world class fish chase, follow and blast our baits every cast.

The 2023 red snapper season runs from June 16 through July 31. The fall season will be from the start of October through November, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Spring inshore bite continues to be consistent here in Tampa Bay. Each one of my clients this week has had a different “bucket list” of species they wanted to target and luckily we have been ✅ them off each and every day.

I am blessed with a career doing what I truly love. Cliche’ as the sayings may be, it is amazing waking up every day living my dream. While most days off are spent maintaining the boat, respooling reels, deep cleaning equipment, servicing the engine etc. there is also a need to scout and pre-fish for upcoming trips. I truly enjoy putting clients on fish, but every once in a while I’ll handle a rod to bring back those memories of why I got into this sport to begin with. It never gets old!!!! Looking forward to Fall fishing with both repeat and new clients!
