Can you believe we only have 4 weeks left of camp? We have a lot going on as we finish up the summer! Here are the happenings for the rest of summer camp:
** Please bring a white t-shirt that can be TYE DYED by Friday July 17th.
**Fire Academy,Tuesday 21st, 9-11:30
**Gymnastics Mon. 27, Tues. 28 and Thurs. 30th 2-3.
**Bowling Tues. July 28th, 10-12 includes Hot Dog and Drink
**Quail Creek Day Camp July 29th, 8:30-4:00.
**Friday July 31st Last Pool Day!

REMEMBER**** Friday is pool day!!! Bring SPRAY sunscreen, a towel, and lots of snack money for the snacks at the pool NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINKS CAN BE BROUGHT IN.

Swimming Lessons
The OWO will be TRANSPORTING children to the Hartselle Aquatic Center for swim lessons the weeks of July 6-17. This will be the only time we will be taking a bus back and forth. If you would like for us to take your child to swim lessons you will need to sign up at the Aquatic Center for Session III. The bus will leave at 7:45am so you will need to make sure you are here by then.
SWIMMING LESSON REGISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY, MAY 11, 8:00AM-4:00PM, at the HARTSELLE AQUATIC CENTER.

Summer is quickly approaching! We are in the process of getting things scheduled, the staff is hired and all we need are the children. We have already began taking applications. If you need to register your child for the summer, you can pick up an application at the Hartselle Housing Authority, call Leigh Chappell (256)773-5481 or email at [email protected]. Our Parent Registration will be Sunday, May 17, 2:00-4:00.

Another summer has come and gone here at the OWO. We had a great summer with over a 100 children signed up for our program. We are looking forward to next summer!
Just FYI:
**Tax statements will be mailed out later in the year.
**If you still owe money it has to be paid before you can register for next year.
**We will start taking applications for Summer 2015 in March 2015.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who had a part in making this summer awesome for the children. We could not have been successful without you!

Wow! Can you believe we are almost done with summer. Our last day at the OWO is Wednesday, Aug. 6th. We have had a great summer and have already started planning for next year.
Next week we will be winding things down with the Campers Choice Awards on Tuesday and a Talent Show on Wednesday. I can't wait to see what talents we have here at the OWO!

Happy Friday All!! I can't believe we are finishing up our 5th week of camp. I know this is a little late in coming but a big THANK YOU to all the dads, granddads, uncles, brothers and some moms who came to our Father's Day Cookout. We had a great turn out! I definitely think that is an event we will continue.
We have had a couple of our planned activities fall through, so we are in the process of rescheduling some things, so keep an eye out.

Our first day of camp is Tuesday, May 27 from 7:00am -6:00pm. We are excited you have chosen to be a part of our program this summer. Here are a few things you need to know for camp:
1. Campers should bring their lunch and snack. We will be selling snack and juice for 25 and 50 cents.
2.You must walk your child in to be signed in. Please do not drop them off. This is for your child's safety.
3. Campers should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
4. To check your child out you will need to come inside. Be prepared to show ID. This is also a safety procedure, so be patient with us as we learn who you belong to:)

The OWO will be having an Open House Tuesday, May 20th, from 5:00-7:00. This will be an opportunity to register, pay fees, sign up for field trips, meet the counselors and tour the facilities.

2) Decatur Museum Tours is Tuesday, July 16! Please be here by 9:00 and don't forget to bring a sack lunch for our picnic :)
3)Paint Class with Mrs. Candice is Thursday, July 18th. The $2.00 fee is due by Wednesday.
4)Princess Party is Friday from 11:00-1:00!
