This little gem was perfect for our Hawaiian getaway. The host offers detailed instructions on check-in which is very helpful when you see the condo set up. My husband and I read the directions like we were on The Amazing Race.
When we entered the unit, our expectations were exceeded. The host thought of everything. We opened the door to beautiful relaxing music and Hawaiian chocolates. There was a lovely screened in porch with a table and chairs (and everything for beach adventures you could ask for: chairs, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, blow up rings and noodles for the kids). This room was a nice surprise. I didn’t see pictures of it on the listing (there might have been pictures, but I just didn’t recall seeing them).
The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and super organized.
The host really thought of everything. Beach towels were nicely rolled up in the closet (we didn’t need those as we had brought our own, but what a nice touch). This place had a nice size bedroom with a light sized bed and plenty of room for luggage (not like some of the studio places).
Washer and dryer were handy.
The neighbors seemed very friendly (perhaps living in such a lush paradise makes everyone happy).
The designated parking spot was easy to find and use.
There is a pool in the back, which gave me some 1970’s vibes. My granddaughter loved splashing around after a few hours of the beach.
Emmanuel, the host, was a great communicator and was readily available to answer any questions, definitely a 5 star gracious human being.
Approximately 200 yards south from the condo on the main road is a collections of food trucks that are a perfect place to grab some lunch. I got a burger and some fries, but was having Pad Thai envy, which was my daughter’s pick. There is a small general store that had a little bit of everything, to include reasonably priced alcohol.
And for dessert or just an afternoon snack, coconut Joe’s has yummy shaved ice and fresh fruit.
Very close to beach. Pictures don’t do justice. It’s a cozy, authentic cottage/condo.
