Get you a campsite at the Lake Hawkins RV Park, 1-mile off 80, and then go across the street to the new bar, The Hangout at Lake Hawkins Restaurant & Pub! They have events all weekend—karaoke Thursday, trivia Friday, standup comedy Saturday!! Sticking around thru Sunday? They have a standing poker tournament Sunday afternoons.

We are going to be listing this 😍pretty😍 thing in a few weeks! It is 1 mile away from the Hideout at the lake (💦half a mile from the water🏖️) on 5️⃣ wooded acres.🌳🌲🌳

This cabin is a 2/2, and from the same builder who did the Hideout cabins. It is on a lovely, quiet road that gets very little traffic. It will make an excellent homestead/lake house. The beach and boat launch is a mile away! Water, boat launch and beach access all year long with ZERO dock maintenance. 😮‍💨

Our GRAND opening will be Fri., March 8.

For the soft open—we will have a LIMITED MENU (attached) & only be open Fri-Sat.

For the grand, we be open Fri thru Sun, & then after that, our regular hours will take effect:

Thur 4p-9p
Fri 4p-11-p
Sat 11a-11p
Sun 11a-9p

We will increase these hours if demand supports it. We will pay close attention to what our customers want. 🩵

If you come out on either of these weekends, please bring some extra patience with you while we get a groove and figure out how to kick butt for y’all!!🤨

Hey friends and neighbors! I hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather and getting ready for dark o’clock at around 4:30pm.🥴

As an update, we are only doing long term rentals right now but I’m hoping we will be in a position to add more cabins by next summer so we can have a few more options for either long or short term. I’ll be winging it and let the market dictate what we do.🤨 So keep following our page and when I have an update…I’ll share it!

Hello friends, former guests and followers!👋🏼 I bet everyone is as excited as we are about the changes in the weather over the last few days!!🫶🏼😮‍💨

I wanted to give everyone an update on our cabins. We gave it a valiant run through two summers but we were not making enough money to pay our bills.🥺 Could have done a few things differently, but we both have had some health woes that threw us a couple of curves and made it difficult to market.

We decided last month to convert the cabins to long-term rentals. We have rented 4/5 of them and just have our “big cabin” left (2br/1ba/“cabin 3” on the website). I am accepting bookings for this cabin while we try to find the best tenant.

As of right now, it is available this weekend and then the weekend of Oct 13. I am not accepting bookings too far out in case we find a tenant who needs to move in. $180/nt, plus a 1x cleaning fee and taxes.

Things may change in a year or two…we may expand and offer more short term rentals again…we may expand and offer more long term rentals… we will let the wind take this development where it’s meant to go.🌬️🤍

Please continue to follow our sister company, The Hangout at Lake Hawkins - Event & Party Venue, as we are hoping to have some exciting updates in the coming months!

Those of us here at the Hideout would like to thank Mother Nature and the Friday night storms for increasing our reach and exposure more than any other ad campaign to date! I’ve received about 30 calls, texts, website messages, etc. for availability within the last 24 hours!! 🙏🏼😜🤣 We are very fortunate. Besides losing our bookings this weekend, we just had a few trees bite it where it didn’t cause damage.✌🏼 We pray for safety and comfort for our neighbors and for a quick restoration.🙏🏼

Now all y’all better come book with us this summer when the power comes back. We still have availability July 4! The fireworks show across the street is on the 3rd this year!

Willie wasn't the only street art going up the past couple of weeks. Check out the two selfie murals on the walls of the Hangout at Lake Hawkins. The muralist was done by one of our local artists, Erica Fry. We will be doing wings and TExAS murals across the county. Posing for the pic are our favorite Miami muralists and painters of the Musgraves mural, Luis and Sara Valle. Just putting this out there for all those folks taking graduation pictures I saw being taken at the Musgraves wall. These are located at 855 CR 3440, Hawkins, Tx. Right across from Hawkins Lake RV Park.
