Great info for ATV riders. We might not have snow but there are lots of places to ride Atvs this year. Powell's on Round Lake near Hayward, WI has huge slabs of perfectly fried walleye! Crispy golden fries, and great tasting coleslaw. The old fashioneds are mixed perfectly! One of my favorite places to eat near Round Lake after a long day of fishing! 🙌🏻 🐟 Cheers! 🥃 I highly recommend!

1/15/24 Hayward Area Ice Report - We where out on several Hayward area lakes this weekend fishing. The bays that are protected from wind are pretty solid with 6-8' of ice. The bigger lakes like LCO just locked up so the main areas had anywhere from a few inches to 4". We walked out on LCO and the Flowage and where able to get on fish. It's been a weird year but with this cold weather we are making ice fast. I would think by this coming weekend even the bigger lakes should be walkable. We saw a few guys out on smaller ATV's in the bays on the flowage that froze up early.

We managed to catch this beauty on the flowage this weekend. (We put it back but it was fun to catch) NOTE- this post is for informational purposes. Please make sure to be safe and check the ice yourself when heading out as conditions change.
