The countdown is on! Just 50 days left until our beloved sea turtles grace our shores once again! 🏖️✨

While the sands of South Carolina remain quiet for now, behind the scenes, we're buzzing with excitement, getting ready to welcome back our gentle ocean friends. 🐚🌟

In 2023, we marveled at a total of 353 nests laid on HHI, and based on the observations and predictions of Sea Turtle Patrol Hilton Head Island, we're preparing for even more this season! 🥚🏝️

As we await the return of our nesting sea turtles, we're not only readying our beaches but our hearts too, hoping for a continued increase in new recruits to join our conservation efforts. 💙🌊

Preparation is well underway, and the excitement is building with each passing day!

Stay tuned for updates as we gear up to witness the wonder of nature unfold right here on our beautiful island. 🌴🐢
