The “Friends of Hilton Head Island” group has now topped 6,800 terrific members! We have grown a lot slower than some other FB groups because we are very careful about screening potential members. We feel we are succeeding in creating a useful tool for Hilton Head Island aficionados to connect with each other and local businesses, discuss (politely) current events affecting our common interests, and share photos and stories of our HHI experiences. As our name implies, we are friends of the island and friends of each other. We prefer staying smaller than those other pages if that’s what it takes to keep our little corner of Facebook as we like it. THANK YOU for your interest of our group!!

We ask a few questions when you request admission, this is a part of that careful screening mentioned above.
