HUGE delayed thanks to Rick Williams and his team for the amazing job they did for us this winter at the Crab Shack on Hilton Head Island!

We had countless problems, we had contractor’s staying for nights at the condo, we had the holidays in the way…. But Rick & his right hand man Jason plowed on and worked so tight with us to get this done.

It’s time!

2 more sleeps 💤 accompanied with two more tips to -
Emerging nests and the sight of hatchlings won’t happen till July, however, If you happen to see a hatchling, going to the water, do not touch or pick up. This would be detrimental to the Turtle because their whole world is dependent on navigation and orientation from the moment they leave the nest. Think of them as needing to set that magnetic compass in their tiny brains and if they’re picked up or relocated from their track, this could disrupt their roadmap…
Don’t confuse our instincts with theirs

It is officially sea turtle nesting season!!🐢

This special occasion takes place each year from May 1st through October 31st.

Help us care for our magnificent sea turtles by turning off outside lights, drawing blinds and curtains, or shutting off visible interior lights from the beach.

Sea turtles are known for digging and nesting at night, so practicing all season long is essential!
