Two things I wanted to share now that it has been a few days since Hurricane Idalia has passed. 1. Flip Flops Sailing is back open for business. And 2. A rare occurrence of pink flamingoes have been sighted just north of AMI in Treasure Island. And a group of flamingos is called a flamboyance.

No dock rash, batteries fully charged, all electronics operational, steering wheel and rudders move smoothly, both engines fired right up, and no water in the bilges. SV Flip Flops dodged a bullet. Now let’s just hope that particular gun is out of ammunition!
