Walt Disney World™ Tip for today: Please do not jump from ride to ride without taking a moment to enjoy the quiet areas at the parks and resorts. This beautiful spot is a back boardwalk between Africa and Pandora just passed The Lion King Show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. One of my favorite places to chill, eat a snack, and watch the fish in the canal.

Walt Disney World Tip for today: FIREWORKS at Magic Kingdom! If you have ever been to the Magic Kingdom during fireworks, you know what the term "Crush of Humanity" means. Such a loaded topic, so I'll break it down.

For sound sensitive guests: DO NOT stand behind the castle thinking it will be quieter. It is very loud near Fantasyland! The fireworks are all launched from behind the castle. By the train station or Main Street are better options. Better yet, you can watch the fireworks (Not the projections) from the beach at the Grand Floridian or the Ticket and Transportation Center. There is a viewing area on the roof of the Contemporary Resort (you will need a reservation receipt from California Grill for any time during that day to access it). There is another viewing station on the store level of the Contemporary Resort. If you wish to see the projections, you can also bring sound muffling earphones or ear plugs.

For handicapped guests: There are several handicapped designated viewing areas that are strictly watched by cast members. Family members are allowed to join nearby. These areas are for DAS registered guests only.

For anxiety prone guests: The Fireworks Pre and Post Dessert Party allows you to enter a semi private enclosed courtyard with great viewing and ground seating (like on the turf grass). There is amble room to spread out or let children run around a bit.

For everyone else: Guests will begin staking out spots in front of the castle up to 2 hours ahead of time! If the fireworks are a priority, then get your gang together, go to the restroom, get some snacks, and find your best spot in a designated area (taped off area, ask a cast member if in doubt) preferably with a railing in front of you (this way no one can stand right in front of you to block your view). Find a spot with very few obstructions to the front of the castle. Enjoy people watching while you wait or look through your photos on the app, etc. You will not regret it.

Notes:
-You do not need to video the fireworks. There are several Youtube videos of them in 8K. Videoing just blocks other people's view.
-Don't forget to wear your eye glasses to see the projections if needed.
-If a small child is standing behind you and you are able to offer a better view for that child, let them through. It may be their only time to ever go to Disney.

Walt Disney World Tip for Today: our favorite places to watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade are in Frontierland across from the Country Bear Jamboree and in the Main Street turn across from the train station. Note: place yourself, your scooter, your stroller, your wheelchair right up to the edge of the curve so that no one stands in front of you! Also, please don’t go and stand in front of a child who can’t see through you. I always invite the little ones to get in front. It could be their only time at Disney. 🥨🏰✨❄️

Disney related Tip for Today: When you are meeting a character, ask them about the other characters from the movie or refer to things they would know. It’s not just a photo opp. It’s a meet and greet.
For Example: ask Peter Pan when is he ever going to grow up. Ask Tiana what her favorite food is, Snow White who her favorite dwarf is. Have fun with it but remain appropriate please! ✨🏰🥨

Tip for today: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind can be accessed via an Individual Lightning Lane and a Virtual Que. You are often limited to riding it twice in one day. If you wish to ride this amazing ride, purchase the Genie+, purchase the ILL, and get into the virtual queue at 7:00 am.
