I'm jumping on the treadmill at 11 mph/ 5:27 pace during a running gait analysis last Friday.
Thank you Robert Monticone

at 1P 4:10 Sports for the excellent advice about improving my running gait! It was extremely helpful feedback.
Thanks also to Tiffany Tracy of 1P 4:10 Sports ( in The Woodlands).

πππΌββοΈMy body and mind was loving 6:22 mile pace today!! πππΌββοΈ
I totally surprised myself and was able to hold this pace or faster for 6.3 miles, took a short water/ fuel break and cranked out 4.25 more miles at 6:22 or faster! I finished both segments at 5:21 pace (11.2 mph).
πππΌββοΈMy goal is to become completely familiar with how this pace feels as it's my half marathon goal pace. The treadmill is the best place for me to do this. Set the machine at 6:22/ 9.4 mph and go!!!
πππΌββοΈI've only been able to manage a handful of workouts this difficult in my entire running career, so I had to document it!
πππΌββοΈI'm so grateful God keeps blessing me to run fast. It's important to me and makes me very happy! And when I'm happier I'm a better mom, wife, and more Christlike person..... all extremely important goals of mine. Running has been such an important "vehicle" for my spiritual and personal development. I love it!!β€οΈ

18 Mile Run With A Fast Finish
π₯π₯π₯
But my run didn't start out fast. My legs felt heavy and I felt some tiredness; I didn't expect much from my run. But like a light switch was turned on......35 minutes into the run I started feeling really good!ππ The heaviness in my legs vanished and I was filled with huge amounts of energy!
π₯I quickly moved down to 6:30 pace and held that for the next 30 minutes!
π₯Then wrapped up the last 10 miles averaging 6:50 min/ mile pace.
π₯I killed it on the last 400 meters finishing at 5:56 pace!! (video of me finishing the run at 5:56 pace)
π₯Feeling fabulous after surprising myself with this run. Feeling really grateful too since I've struggled with tiredness the last 6 weeks.
