With over 27 years in fi****ms, tactics, and security training, Joe is now bringing his services and experience to the private sector with Maughan Ventures. Prior to founding Maughan Ventures, Joe was a Worldwide Protective Security (WPS) instructor conducting fi****ms, executive protection, and other high threat security training for the Department of State through Triple Canopy. Joe has also spe
nt 20 years with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Idaho National Laboratory (INL) Anti-Terrorism Teams. He served as a Sniper Leader, Team Leader and was the Lead Training Instructor for the Special Response Teams (SRT). He was responsible for fi****ms, live fire shooting house, sniper training and qualifications. He has also trained, competed with, and facilitated training for law enforcement and military agencies such as: U.S. Army Delta, FBI/HRT, LAPD, and various local and regional SWAT teams. Some of the classes Joe conducts are; Concealed Carry Training classes for Idaho and Utah, Basic through Advanced pistol and rifle instruction, Use of Force, Vulnerability Assessment for your home or business and Executive Protection Security.
